Privacy Notice

Effective date: September 3, 2026

CleBank is a trade name operated by CleBank Technologies LLC. CleBank Technologies LLC is responsible for processing the personal data described in this Privacy Notice.

Questions, privacy requests, or requests concerning your personal data may be sent to info@clebank.com or submitted through CleBank's customer-support system.

1. Scope

This Privacy Notice applies to personal data processed through the CleBank website, mobile applications, account-registration and identity-verification processes, customer-support channels, and financial services made available through the CleBank platform.

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on the services you use, CleBank may collect and process:

  • Identification information, including your name, date of birth, nationality, and government-issued identification information.
  • Contact information, including your email address, telephone number, and postal address.
  • Account information, including your CleBank user ID and account-related information.
  • Identity-verification and compliance information required to verify your identity and satisfy applicable Know Your Customer (KYC), anti-money-laundering, fraud-prevention, and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial and transactional information, including account or wallet balances, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, transaction history, beneficiaries, and related financial records.
  • Documents and photographs voluntarily submitted for identity verification, account administration, compliance, or customer-support purposes.
  • Messages and information you voluntarily submit through CleBank customer-support or ticketing functions.
  • Technical and operational information necessary to maintain the security and performance of the platform, including application crash reports, diagnostics, performance information, session information, IP addresses, and security logs.
  • Information regarding interactions with the CleBank application when necessary to operate, secure, monitor, or improve the service.

CleBank does not access your phone contacts, precise or approximate device location, list of installed applications, browsing history, SMS or MMS content, email content stored on your device, or Advertising ID as part of the current CleBank mobile application.

CleBank does not collect passwords, PINs, or one-time verification codes through customer-support forms. Users should never submit this information through support tickets.

3. Payment information

CleBank may allow users to initiate deposits, payments, withdrawals, or other transactions through independent payment processors and financial-service providers.

When a third-party payment provider requests payment-card, bank-account, or other payment credentials directly from the user, those credentials are processed by that provider under its own terms and privacy practices. CleBank does not directly collect or store full payment-card credentials when they are entered directly into the provider's payment interface.

CleBank may nevertheless retain transaction references, amounts, payment status, provider identifiers, and other records necessary to operate the user's account and maintain an accurate transaction history.

4. Purposes of processing

CleBank may process personal data to:

  • Create, verify, maintain, and administer user accounts.
  • Authenticate users and protect account access.
  • Provide wallets, transfers, deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other financial functionality requested by users.
  • Maintain transaction histories and account balances.
  • Verify identity and complete KYC and other compliance procedures.
  • Detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to fraud, suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
  • Comply with applicable financial, anti-money-laundering, tax, accounting, judicial, and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to customer-support requests, complaints, disputes, and inquiries.
  • Send account, security, authentication, transaction, and service-related notifications.
  • Monitor application reliability, diagnose technical problems, correct errors, and improve application performance.
  • Maintain records necessary to protect CleBank, its users, and the integrity of the financial platform.

CleBank does not use personal data collected through the mobile application for third-party behavioral advertising.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The CleBank website may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary to maintain sessions, authenticate users, protect accounts, remember preferences, and maintain website functionality.

Where non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used and applicable law requires consent, CleBank will provide the appropriate notice or consent mechanism.

This section primarily concerns use of the CleBank website and does not mean that the CleBank mobile application accesses unrelated information stored on the user's device.

6. Service providers and transfers

CleBank may disclose or make personal data available when necessary to companies that provide services on CleBank's behalf, including:

  • Payment processors and transaction-service providers.
  • Financial institutions involved in processing transactions.
  • Identity-verification, KYC, fraud-prevention, and compliance providers.
  • Hosting, cloud-infrastructure, cybersecurity, and communications providers.
  • Customer-support and operational service providers.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, and insurers.
  • Courts, regulators, tax authorities, law-enforcement authorities, or other competent governmental authorities when disclosure is legally required.
  • A successor or acquiring entity in connection with a merger, restructuring, financing transaction, acquisition, or transfer of all or part of the business.

Service providers processing personal data on CleBank's behalf are expected to use such information only for the services they provide and subject to applicable contractual, security, and confidentiality requirements.

Some providers may process information outside the user's country. Where required by applicable law, CleBank will use appropriate contractual, legal, or organizational safeguards for international data transfers.

7. Security

CleBank implements administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, misuse, disclosure, or destruction.

Data transmitted between the CleBank application and CleBank systems is protected using encrypted network connections.

No information system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their credentials, devices, passwords, PINs, and verification codes and should promptly report suspected unauthorized activity.

8. Data retention

CleBank retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide its services, maintain and protect user accounts, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and satisfy applicable financial, anti-money-laundering, tax, accounting, regulatory, and legal requirements.

Different categories of information may therefore be retained for different periods.

Account profile information that is no longer required may be deleted or anonymized following a valid deletion request, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Transaction histories, KYC records, identity-verification information, fraud-prevention records, accounting records, regulatory records, and similar financial information may be retained after an account is closed when retention is required or permitted by applicable law.

Where applicable law establishes a mandatory retention period, CleBank will retain the relevant information for that required period. Where no specific statutory period applies, CleBank will retain the information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice.

9. Account closure and deletion requests

Users may close their CleBank account through the Account Closing option available in the application's Settings section.

Because CleBank provides financial services, closing access to an account does not necessarily result in the immediate deletion of every record associated with that account.

Users may separately request deletion of personal data by:

  • Sending a request to info@clebank.com, or
  • Opening a request through the CleBank customer-support ticket system.

A deletion request should identify the account and clearly state that the user is requesting deletion of their CleBank account and associated personal data.

CleBank may require reasonable identity verification before completing a deletion request.

Following a valid request, CleBank will delete or anonymize personal information that is no longer necessary, except for information that CleBank must or is permitted to retain for legitimate purposes such as financial-recordkeeping, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, anti-money-laundering compliance, tax obligations, accounting requirements, or other legal and regulatory obligations.

Information retained for those purposes will not be used for unrelated purposes.

10. Your privacy rights

Subject to the law applicable to you, you may have the right to request:

  • Access to personal data CleBank maintains about you.
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Deletion or cancellation of personal data when legally available.
  • Restriction of certain processing.
  • Opposition to certain processing.
  • Withdrawal of consent when processing is based on consent.
  • Information concerning certain disclosures or international transfers.
  • Portability of personal data where provided by applicable law.

Privacy requests may be submitted to info@clebank.com or through the CleBank customer-support system.

To protect users against unauthorized requests, CleBank may require information reasonably necessary to verify the identity and account ownership of the person making the request.

Certain requests may be limited when processing or retention is necessary to comply with law, maintain financial records, prevent fraud, protect security, resolve disputes, enforce contractual obligations, or protect the rights of CleBank or third parties.

11. Automated processing

CleBank does not currently provide or generate consumer credit scores through the mobile application.

CleBank may use automated security rules or fraud-detection systems to identify unusual, potentially unauthorized, or suspicious activity. Such systems may assist CleBank personnel in protecting accounts and satisfying security and compliance obligations.

Where applicable law provides rights relating to automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, CleBank will provide the applicable information and review mechanisms required by law.

12. Children and minors

CleBank's standard services are intended for persons 18 years of age or older.

CleBank does not knowingly offer the standard CleBank account to children or minors.

If CleBank becomes aware that personal data from a minor has been collected contrary to these requirements, appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with applicable law.

13. Changes to this Privacy Notice

CleBank may update this Privacy Notice when its services, security practices, processing activities, legal requirements, or regulatory obligations change.

Material changes may be communicated through the CleBank website, application, account notifications, or email when appropriate.

The current version of this Privacy Notice will remain available at:
